Photo of the Day
I snapped this photo of my housemate Tim yesterday afternoon as we walked to our neighborhood hardware store.
It's quite something when you think about it. I mean, how many people living in a major metro area get to walk through the woods to go shopping?
All I can say is that I feel very fortunate to live in a city like Minneapolis which has some really beautiful areas of urban wilderness – like the area in this picture, situated near my home along the Minnehaha Creek Parkway.
With today being Earth Day, it seems a good time to share this particular picture and the 'recommended links' below!
