Spring's wintry surprise . . . That's definitely one way to describe this evening's snowfall here in the Twin Cities, which started at around 8:30.
At around 10:00 I went outside and walked along nearby Minneahaha Creek and its surrounding areas of urban wilderness. It really is a beautiful part of south Minneapolis, as I hope the images I snapped and now share in this post do justice to. Enjoy!
Rain or a mix of rain and snow Monday evening is expected to change to mostly snow in east-central Minnesota overnight.
Grassy areas in east-central Minnesota and the Twin Cities could see some very light snow accumulations overnight Monday night.
