New Spring Green

I took these photographs today as I walked along Minnehaha Creek from my home in south Minneapolis to my bus stop on nearby Chicago Ave. It's about a 15 minute walk and I do it twice a day – on my way to work at around 7:30 a.m., and then later when returning home at around 5:00 p.m. As I've noted previously, it's a lovely way to start and end my work day. And especially so now with the new spring green (and its accompanying blooms) emerging both underfoot and overhead!

The new spring green is the best color! Great captures.

  2. Nice photos Michael!
At the end of your post you recall the past posts about this topic...
It makes me think a little bit about the passing of time, which on our rotating planet has got this feature of 'seasonality' that is, repetitiveness..
It is one of the aspects of our experience... Another one is the linear journey towards new unknown things....
