After several months tending to needed transition time, I’m off tomorrow for public speaking dates for the first time since [my presidential] campaign ended. . . . I said to myself often during the campaign that I would not be the same person on the other side of it, for all kinds of reasons. I’ve known over the last few months that my major work was making sure I would come out of the experience with my heart open, hopefully a better person for having been through the experience. I’m not all the way on the other side of it yet, but I have definitely turned a corner. Words can’t describe my gratitude to the friends who accompanied me through that dark tunnel getting back to the light, as well as to people I don’t even know who were sending prayers and kind thoughts my way.
I hope I still have the juice. I hope the faucet will turn on and my mojo will still be there! Prayers and good energy much appreciated. I know I’ve shifted gears. I really hope it’s into higher ones.
