Seven Years On

Today my thoughts and prayers go out to all who grieve the loss of a loved one (or whose life was in some other way impacted) as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S. May they know God’s loving, comforting, and strengthening presence in their lives. I also pray for those both here and in faraway countries whose lives have been devastated by the Bush administration’s misguided reaction to these attacks. May they too know God’s transforming presence in their shattered lives.
