My congressional representative, Ilhan Omer (D-MN) was interviewed on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah this time last week.
It was an insightful and wide-ranging interview of a woman for whom I have a lot of respect.
Among other things, Rep. Omar talked about out how Congress can set a budget that creates positive change. She also shared what she has learned from the backlash against her tweet about the government of Israel and its policies.
