We can’t thrive, if we don’t survive. This may seem obvious, but is sometimes forgotten by those of us on a spiritual path. We forget the ground, and jump into awakening with all our heart. And then, we come crashing back to earth when the money runs out, or when we realize that we forgot to honor our foundational needs.
We aren’t birds. We’re human. We need our roots strong and sturdy, before we can fly. And if we get them solid, we don’t even need to fly to awaken. We do it from deep within the ground of our being. On the earth plane. In this divinely constructed body. And from here, we recognize that what we imagined as awakening was often just a flight of fancy. Because sustainable awakening happens from deep within a grounded consciousness. From a place of integration and inclusivity. From sole to soul.
