“Let the People Decide”: Marianne Williamson on the DNC's Efforts to Deny and Suppress the Democratic Process

Source

I have to say that with each new interview she gives, Marianne Williamson looks and sounds more and more presidential.

Most polls have the best-selling author and 2024 Democratic candidate for president polling in the low teens – 13-14%, which means that in her race against President Joe Biden to be the Democratic nominee, Marianne is equal to, or often out-polling, candidates Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy in their race against leading Republican candidate Donald Trump. This is impressive given that unlike multi-millionaire presidential candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (who is running as an independent) or Democrat Dean Phillips, Marianne isn’t in a position to independently fund her campaign and/or have a super PAC behind her. It’s also impressive given that Marianne and her presidential campaign continue to be largely ignored by the so-called “liberal” mainstream media.

This blackballing by the media is one of a number of issues that Marianne addressed in a 15-minute interview yesterday with Rising’s Briahna Joy Gray and Robby Soave.

In this same interview, Marianne also made a number of insightful observations about the increasing popularity of her progressive and grassroots campaign; the state of democracy in the Democratic party; how, if she were the nominee, she would win over voters in the all-important swing states so as to win the presidency in 2024; and how, as president, she would respond to the situation in Israel and Gaza.

Marianne also shared the good news that a Democratic presidential candidates debate is being planned for January 8 by and at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. For sure, she and fellow Democratic candidate Rep. Dean Phillips will be participating. It’s not so sure, however, whether President Biden will do the right thing and be part of this debate. This is because the Democratic party establishment, led by the Democratic National Committee (DNC), is currently doing everything it can to deny and suppress the primary process within the party.

Such an undemocratic move is unacceptable to Marianne who insists on letting the people, not the DNC, decide on who will be the best person to both defeat the Republican presidential nominee in 2024 (most likely Donald Trump) and lead the country forward beyond 2024.
