In Australia today (or rather, yesterday, given the time difference) my youngest nephew Brendan celebrates his 14th birthday.Happy Birthday, Brendan!
The picture at left was taken by my sister-in-law (Brendan's mum) at Swallows' Ledge, Port Macquarie. That candle apparently sings "Happy Birthday"!

Happy Birthday to Brendan. Hope that he is staying cool. I heard that they are having a heat wave in parts of Australia. It was 40C in Melbourne yesterday.
