I begin the long journey back to Australia this afternoon to be with my family at a very sad time.
My dear dad, Gordon James Bayly (pictured with me at right earlier this year), is in the last days of his life, and about to embark on his own very special and profound journey to the next life.
As I write, he is receiving hospice care at Emmaus Nursing Home in Port Macquarie, the coastal town where my parents have resided since 2002. I plan on being in Australia for a month. Thanks in advance for your love and support.

I wish I could be there for you, like you were with Andrea. Please know that our prayers and love go with you and that you and your family will be on my mind and in my heart during the terribly difficult days ahead. Our Angel will be there with you and I hope knowing that brings you some comfort somehow. May God's merciful, comforting, and loving arms surround all of you and may His grace rain down upon you during each minute, hour, and day that passes. Hugs and love go with you. Be safe, my friend.
