When Hope Seems Gone

God of all wisdom, when I can do nothing to heal or improve a regrettable stituation, comfort me with your simple presence.

I know your mind sees meaning where we may see only absurdity. Your compassion embraces pain where we may detect no relief or hope. Your creative imagination knows remedies and good prospects within this creation where we may only despair.

I turn to you when hope seems gone. Into your hands I commend my spirit.

Amen.
